Chris opened his practice in his hometown of Cold Spring in 2009—literally hanging a shingle, a solo doc shop with no employees. Name recognition and patient-centered care have allowed his practice to thrive and Chris now practices with an exceptional team of a Nurse Practitioner, office administrator, and administrative assistant. Keeping the practice nimble, intimate, and low in overhead remains as important with the practice now as in 2009.
Although his model is not for everyone, Chris feels as though small, lean practices are better for providers and patients alike.
Chris is blessed with a patient wife and 3 healthy children. They enjoy the out of doors together.
Chris is a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks, Creighton University (BS), University of Minnesota (MD) Poudre Valley Hospital Family Medicine Residency, and University of Colorado Advanced Training Track in Obstetrics.
Prior to hanging his shingle, he practiced in Leadville Colorado, and St. Cloud MN.
